Our values are our identity and our business model combined. Planet Earthling has repeatedly declined funding and partnerships that conflict with our ethical standards. If you want to partnerwith us, we want you to be aware of our values, why we hold them and how we are implementing them. These are our values:

vegan is NOT JUST the FUTURE, IT’S THE PAST TOO.

Veganism is one of our strongest core values. There is no green transition without veganism. The world thinks it’s an insult to be treated like a child or an animal. Planet Earthling wants to make it a compliment. Below you can read what we are doing to contribute to the cultivation of a vegan future for children and adults alike.

MENTAL HEALTH (ADHD and ocd-focused)

ADHD AND OCD:
ADHD is one of the world’s most growing diagnosis. According to the National Library Of Medicine, the total is an estimated 366 million adults alone, not counting children or the undiagnosed. But if so many people have the same mental disorder perhaps we need to ask: Isn’t it the system that produces us that needs to be diagnosed?
At Planet Earthling, with half our team diagnosed, we openly acknowledge ADHD and OCD, designing our workplace and projects around neurodiverse needs. We aim to inspire partners and workplaces to do the same.

LONELINESS AND AGEISM:
“Party Like An Earthling” is Planet Earthling’s party concept. We create pop-up parties that are based around a theme, including costume parties. We have received very positive reactions across demographics. With our “Party Like Your Grandparents” parties (which we shared a taste of at our Halloween party on October 2021 in Refshaleøen, Copenhagen) we are fighting the stigma around aging, and around partying. From January 2026, we are launching our campaign in residential homes in Denmark, bringing parties to the residential homes, fighting ageism, loneliness and boredom, one disco ball after another.

EUROPEAN UNION

Planet Earthling is proudly European, both in our values and geography. Since the beginning, our startup has received informal guidance from various divisions and representatives of the European Union, including the European Commission, who have helped us with our non-profit activities since 2021. Planet Earthling fully aligns with the six core values that the EU is founded on, as well as the European Convention Charter On Human Rights, which can be read here.

EU EMBASSIES AND DIPLOMATS

We have consistently received support from EU embassies and ambassadors for our projects in Copenhagen and Dublin. On December 9, 2024, we held our first public collaboration with several EU embassies in Denmark, Palads (Nordisk Film), Save The Children Denmark, and Ukraine House Denmark, enabling Planet Earthling to offer free cinema trips to school children and low-income families during the Christmas season 2024. Special thanks to the embassy of Hungary and Ukraine in Denmark.

GREEN TRANSITION & OTHER ETHICAL PRACTICES

100% VEGAN FOOD OPTIONS must always be available

Animals are part of our Earthling definition. We only collaborate with restaurants and hotel chains that can provide 100% vegan and alcohol-free options for our customers. Vegetarian options are not sufficient for us. Your establishment does not need to be entirely vegan or be alcohol-free, but must be able to offer these options.

ALCOHOL-FREE OPTIONS

Every value we uphold is intentional. We encourage a nightlife that is not solely reliant on alcohol consumption. While many venues include alcohol, our events focus on building community and fighting loneliness by social activity. We partner with venues that want to contribute to a sustainable, inclusive nightlife where people come for the atmosphere and creativity that we produce together, not just the drinks.

ETHICAL EXTERNAL HIRES

We have access to private chefs, DJs, artists, electricians, and other professionals who can be hired for your events. However, if you are a venue owner or manager, you must ensure Planet Earthling that by hiring an external professional, Planet Earthling does not contribute to putting the jobs of your existing staff at risk.

GREEN TRANSITION

We have previously partnered with Green Nation Denmark to ensure overall ethical practises in our parties, including recyclable and reusable material but especially material that has low or zero impact.
